Boulevardia

AppTapp is the premier event technology platform for amplifying guest engagement, interaction and experience at festivals, events, venues and destinations.

Boulevardia believes a desirable society stands on principle and aspires higher, and that both can be accomplished while throwing a celebration AND sharing a commitment to important causes and responsible living. Boulevardia debuted in 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri, combining the best aspects of beer, food, music and community festivals to relentlessly reward all who cross its borders.

Now after three years, Boulevardia has established itself as one of the premier festival events in the Midwest, drawing in nearly 120,000 attendees, or "citizens" as we call the visitors that find their way to our "country within a country."

Situation

Through the creation of a mobile responsive website designed to be the festival's central communications hub, a cross-platform mobile app to help guide Boulevardia's citizens during the fest, and active social media and email communications management, AppTapp provided the necessary digital channels to successfully engage and inform Boulevardia's citizens from the first ticket sale to the fest's last call.

Reviews

A huge success...

“With about 45,000 people of all ages attending and 78,000 beers being poured, it has to be the midwest's largest beer festival.”

— Tom Gilbert, Tulsa World

Third time another charm...

“The third annual Boulevardia festival launched like its two predecessors: The weather was hot — humid, sticky and oppressive — but thousands gathered nonetheless in the West Bottoms to indulge in food, beer and music.”

— Timothy Finn, Kansas City Star

A day of indie rock glory...

“Overall, Friday at Boulevardia 2016 was one of the best days of music I’ve seen in at least five years. Every set was quality. Even in blazing temperatures, it’s great to see people enjoying themselves. Boulevardia 2016 served up beer and excellent tunes.”
